New festival Circus Meandres in Český Krumlov
The Circus Meanders Festival brings the best of modern circus art, theatre, and creative activities to Český Krumlov. Circus Meandres is a new event that builds on the success and tradition of the International Festival of Contemporary Circus and Theatre Letní Letná, while also creating space for a new cultural event in the South Bohemian region.
The daily festival programme caters to all age groups. In the afternoona and early evenings, performances are geared toward families with children. Much of the accompanying programme is free of charge and includes workshops, creative sessions, a carousel, and wooden interactive toys. The festival evenings are reserved for the main program, which features a selection of the best from the Czech contemporary circus scene. This way, the whole family can enjoy a day in the spirit of contemporary circus.
