This edition of the international Letní Letná festival will open with a unique project that pushes the limits of the possible. The world renowned tight rope walker Tatiana-Mosio Bongoga from the French troup Cie Basinga is coming to Prague!

The audience here in Prague knows her from six years ago when she successfully went all the way up to the top of the chapiteau on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the festival. This time, however, the bar is even higher. Her “walk in the sky” will be taking place at a height of 35 metres along a 350 metre tight rope running from the Faculty of Law over the Vltava to Letná Park. Beats of live music will be accompanying the artist on her way. When she arrives at Letná, Cie Basinga will solemnly open the 16th year of Letní Letná.

But that is not all! There are several openair shows on the programme. There is Shamaniac by Blackout Paradox, a dance-acrobatic performance freely inspired by shamanism and mysticism. The young duo Zuzana Drábová from Cink Cink Cirk and Jan Jirák from Teel the Universe Circus Company will perform their new street show Cink the Universe. Last but not least, there will be a concert by the Argentinian-Spanish band La Orquestra Informal at the festival bar.
